This page provides an overview of the capabilities of the installation module using examples. The individual functionalities are further elaborated in other articles. For each section we provide links at once to the detailed explanations and also to frequently asked questions on this topic.

Purpose

The installation module offers the possibility to keep track per customer (and possibly even per building or room in a building) of which installations (machines, boilers, ...) are located there, what the serial number of that equipment is, when it was last serviced and by whom, what materials were used, ... The next maintenance date can also be calculated automatically so that no installation is ever overlooked.

Overview of installations (by customer)

A customer may have multiple addresses. Think of the headquarters, the warehouse, a workshop, ... Each address may have one or more installations. It is also possible to further divide an address into 'buildings'. This can be useful, for example, for apartment buildings where you want to keep track of each apartment's heating system. It is therefore also possible to link an installation to a 'building' within an address. The functionalities for 'addresses' and 'buildings' are optional and can always be activated later if they should prove to be useful.

History of a specific installation

Through the overview 'actions' you will get a complete reverse chronological overview of all actions related to this installation. When was this installation installed, when was a problem reported, when did the last maintenance occur, ...

Schedule and execute maintenance via work orders

On a work order, your technician can indicate directly what actions he has performed on the installation. A repair or an annual maintenance is thus quickly and easily registered and also appears in the overview of the actions (see the history above).

Have next-maintenance-date automatically calculated

If you specify the period over which an installation is to be maintained, the system can automatically calculate the date of the next installation for you. This way you will not overlook any installation.

It is also possible to create a list of all installations that will require maintenance in the coming period.
