Processing payments using Ponto

Go to the overview of your sales invoices

Action > Show bank account

Following that, you will be shown all payment traffic (both incoming and outgoing)

Actions

Automatic matching

Match found

The score indicates the extent to which the match is correct. These are indicated by a green button.

Via the green button 'Confirm' you link the payment to your sales invoice.

Example
Score 90% (For example, an error of €0.02 has been detected) - in this case, a partial payment is recorded and this invoice is also given an adjusted status of "Partially paid" or "Overpaid."
Score 100% all information matches and the invoice is given status "Paid" after confirmation.

No match

It is not always possible to match payments to an invoice. For this, we depend on how correctly the payment information is entered by the payer. (The customer can always enter a wrong amount, forget the structured communication,....)

In these cases you have to look up the invoice itself and link it.

From 'Find Invoice' you can look up the related invoice.

No action

Should the payment not be linked to some invoice, you can use 'No action' to indicate that no link should be made and this line will also be grayed out. This way you know that this line should not be looked at in the future.

Split payment over different invoices

If a payment comes in that goes across different invoices, you can split the payment using the 'Split'

Load more payments

Only the latest payments are loaded. If you want to look further into the past, press the 'Show more' button to retrieve older payments.
