It may happen that an item is out of stock in a webshop. Then the customer can choose to be notified when the item is back in stock with the 'Notify me' option. (yellow/orange button with the envelope icon in the example below)

These 'Notify me' messages are kept in a so-called waiting list.

No e-mail is sent to the user or owner of the web shop to inform that someone has pressed the notify me button.

This waiting list can be accessed through your product overview. Via Action > View waiting list

There you will see a list of all the products on which a notify me message has been requested.

  • Status : By default, this is given a status of 'Open'. If a product is back in stock it will get 'In stock' status. If you are going to send the Stock notification emails, they will get the status 'Email sent'. (This status is filtered out by default.

  • Date : Date the 'Notify me' button was used

  • Product + code : indicate which item it is

    .

  • User, E-mail, Relationship :indicate which customer it refers to

  • Location : indicate which branch/shop is involved in multiple webshops

You can perform 2 actions on this list;

  • Update product status : In this way, you are going to do a stock check on the products in the list. Meanwhile, if these items are back in stock, they will get the status 'In Stock'.

  • Send now : This will send the stock notification mail for all items that have been given the status 'In stock'. Thus, the customer who used the Notify me button will get an email notification that the item is back in stock.

After sending the stock notification email, the status is changed to 'Email sent' and it is filtered out of the list by default.
