The platform is available in multiple languages. See Work in multiple languages.

However, not everything will always be immediately translated. The flexibility of the platform has its advantages and disadvantages. The advantage is that our software was very much customized to the company. The disadvantage is that there are unique things present within the platform that are not yet translated by default.

Entity translate

If you notice that an entity (e.g. Customer, Quote, Invoice,...) (or 'custom entity') has not been translated or has been translated incorrectly, go to Settings and select the entity in question.

At the top you will see the name of the entity and the name of the entity in plural. To the right you will see an icon to retrieve/add the translations.

If you press the translation icon a pop-up will appear where you can enter translations.

You can always revert to the default language via the reset icon.
Press 'Save' to save your translations.

Translate menu items

Translate menu items

Go to Settings > General > Menu
Select the menu item you want to translate via the pencil icon.

Then press the translation icon.

A pop-up will appear where you can add/correct the translations. Then press Save to save your changes.

Did you notice that everything is not yet translated in your menu? You have fixed menu items, but also 'Views' that are called. (A view is another view of data eg. Expired invoices - A list view with preset filters)
You can recognize these by the indication of the entity before the name of the view.

E.g. Customers : Card view customers - The last part returns as a menu item.

Views translate

Go to Settings > [Entity] > Views
Press the translation icon at 'Name', add your translation and press 'Save'.

Translate column titles, form fields or filters

On a client you have e.g. fields like name, address,. These fields are translated by default. But regularly we also add a custom field. These are not always translated by default. Those fields can be found in the detail sheet, the column headers, the filters in the list view.

These 'fields' can be found under Settings > [Entity] e.g. Customer > Fields & Sections
Select the relevant tab (usually General) and find the field you want to translate.
Go to the name of the field and press the translation icon.

Then add the translations and press Save.

Faulty or missing translations?

If you cannot resolve it with any of the above options, please contact [email protected]. They will be happy to help you get those final translations on point.
