Invoicing a separate work order can easily be done by opening the work order and choosing the green Action button and then "Invoice."
You will then get a pop-up with some options that we explain below.
What are the different options to invoice a work order?
You can choose to transfer the details of a work order in full to the invoice, but it is equally possible to group so that there is only 1 invoice line for movement cost, transportation type and material.
β
Below are the different options:
No. | Name | More information |
1. | Take over all details to invoice | This creates one invoice line for every material that was consumed, every kind of transportation record that happened, and for every time record. This makes the invoice almost a copy of the work order. |
2. | Total hours+ km transport by type + material in detail | This creates one invoice line for work hours, one invoice line for transportation costs and then separate lines for all materials consumed |
3. | Total hours + km transport by type + material as 1 line | This makes one invoice line for work hours, one invoice line for transportation costs and one line showing the total price of all materials consumed |
4. | Total hours and km as 1 line + material in detail | This creates one invoice line that includes the total price of work hours and transportation costs, and then separate lines for materials consumed. |
Do I get a preview of the amount being billed?
In the pop-up that appears when you want to invoice a work order, a preview of the amounts that will be billed already appears. For example, if you have a work order of which some materials are under warranty, while other materials have been consumed in direction, this will be shown separately in the pop-up.
This way, you get a preview of what will be billed even before the invoice is created.

Here you will see a work order showing both materials on line, as well as additional work and warranty. Of course, the line covered by warranty may not be billed. | |
This then appears in the pop-up as follows. You can clearly see that there is no mention of the materials covered under "Warranty." |
