This help desk article explains more about the dynamic start/stop timekeeping system created to greatly simplify timekeeping within IAMD. ERP greatly simplify it for the user. The end goal is to be able to record in as much detail as possible what time is spent on, so that you get a clear overview of billable hours and overhead. However, this system is not on by default and must be activated through the settings. To do so, see the last section of this help desk article.

Tip
To activate this, you need permissions to the entity's 'To-do's' settings. If you don't have those, check with the administrator of IAMD internally in your company.

Record time on todo's

As soon as this system is activated you get the ability to start a TODO directly from the list view or from the detail screen of the todo.

Record time on projects

As soon as this system is activated you get the ability to start working on a project without starting a specific task or assignment. Think of real overhead registrations, such as preparing an interim invoice.

If this component does not yet exist, it will be created automatically.

Recording time on quotations

The time you spend preparing a quotation can also be registered, because the start/stop button also appears automatically with a quotation.

How to activate this system

You can activate this system by going to the Settings of the entity 'Todos'. Here you turn on the checkbox "Time registration start-stop system".
